Message From Pastor Frye

Dear Redeemed and Baptized Members of Holy Cross,

In response to the latest recommendations offered concerning the Coronavirus it has been decided to suspend our worship services and gatherings here at Holy Cross (Lenten meals, Bible Class, Sunday School, Morning Prayer, etc.) through the end of March (14 days). We will continue to carefully monitor the situation as updates are made available. This is not a decision that was easily arrived at. It has been made out of love and concern for one another.

We will be posting to our website the Readings, Sermon, and Prayers of the Church, making them available also on CD’s for those who wish to access them in this way. We will also try to include a PDF (file) which includes the bulletin on the website.

For those wishing to receive the Sacrament of the Lord’s body and blood during this time you may contact Pastor Frye (970) 441-0491 for a scheduled appointment.

As we face this situation together, we do not do so in fear but in mutual faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of all His creation. In fact, He is the one is and remains our only Savior from sin and death! “He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” He is the one who was victorious over death and the grave in His resurrection!

It is our prayer that He will soon allow us to be together again in receiving the means of grace. Until then, may He grant us courage, peace, and strength, keeping us ever confident in His love and goodness.

Pastor Frank G. Frye
