The parish of Holy Cross Lutheran Church was founded in 1951. It is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. This means that the pastors and congregation members are committed to the teachings of the Bible and the Lutheran Confessions. This commitment is expressed in our worship services through the Historic Liturgy of the Christian Church. The church building was dedicated in 1958. God has multiplied the membership to over 1,100 today.

In 1964, the congregation began its elementary school which has grown to include an Early Childhood Education Center. The total program now provides Christian education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten.

The congregation also maintains a Sunday School beginning with three-year-old children through Adult Bible Classes. Midweek Education Classes are provided for children in grades five through eight during the school year.
